About Me

Hello! My name is Payton Ridge. I am a Graphic Designer living in Muncie, IN. I recently graduated from Ball State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. I like branding identity creation and web design. I am open to exploring all fields of design because I don't like to limit myself! I love to learn anything and everything I can in order to make myself a more well-rounded designer.

A little bit about me, I am a military child that has lived in many cities around the US - most recent city being Tampa, FL. Being an army child has molded me as a person that is able to adapt to any situation thrown at me - I can thank attending 16 different schools for that. Outside of design, you can find me watching Twitch or binge watching Netflix. I also love playing video games in my free time and snuggling my cat, Finley!

Collaborate with multiple departments to design and execute a variety of promotional materials.
Design and create full rebrands for departments within the business.
Create advertisements including, but not limited to, TV monitor signs, flyers, rack cards, brochures, postcards, stickers, outdoor signage (e.g., coroplast yard signs, banners), etc.
Assist in the development of assets for rotating exhibitions, including flyers, backlit signage, billboards, and museum panels.
Experienced in asset processing - including printing, laminating, and mass cutting.
Efficiently organize and manage multiple assets simultaneously using Excel spreadsheets to ensure smooth project execution and tracking.

Intersection

Summer 2023

Muncie, IN

Conducted client research and created a personal brand identity. This included a personal logo, complete website design, brand guidelines, and identity standards. Facilitated client meetings, led client presentations, and implemented design feedback.
Cross-functional communication. Communicated with marketing, account manager, copywriter, and video producer on the details of the projects to support and drive the projects to success.
Assisted in the creation of a new startup company under Intersection called Intersessions. This included the logo design, the wireframes for the website, and other research for its development.
Collaborated with other interns on the management of the social media content throughout the summer for Intersection’s intern division called Internsection. Created content for the social media accounts for TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Designed and created websites using Squarespace.
